#58 A Day on South Bank

We had today pencilled in the diary to go out and visit Anna and the kids, but got a message to say let’s catch up on South Bank either. A pleasent surprise was the inclusion of Lily – a very old friend of Dylan’s who had hasn’t seen in, a very long time.

Dylan and I arrived early and wandered up to have morning tea with Dave, then headed into the Parlour at the State Library for a quick game while Anna arrived. I thought Dylan was going to beat me at checkers for the first time ever. From then, we hooked up with Anna and had morning tea on the lawn and then into the kids area of the State Library. The kids had a ball, then it was off for lunch on the lawn and some rolling down the hill. We finished up at the Museum.

Dylan and Lily loved hanging out together and before they said good-bye the promised me I would organise another date for them very soon. I do believe it will be Monday.
