Postcardia-cum-Poetica #100

When I began pasting poems to my weekly postcards, numbering and sharing them here, I didn’t expect that I would accumulate 100, or that 100 would feel more like shifting out of first gear and into second.

At the worst of things, creatively, these weekly poetic pairings have kept my flame alive. In the best of times, they’ve been a celebration of from the incredible ideas and projects that grow from something bigger!!

Here’s the most recent. And below it. The very first Postcardia missive. I had forgotten it started with hand coloured postcards!!!

Pebbles, JoJo and Ro on Baxter Street, from the series Prince Street Girls, by Susan Meiselas, New York (1978). Words from If On A Winter’s Night A Traveler.
